"We cannot say enough about our whole experience at this hotel. From the moment we drove through the tree-lined driveway to the moment we pulled away; we were attended to by the most exceptional customer service. Communication was excellent prior to and during our stay. Additionally, and since we had a very late arrival, special care was taken and every effort was made to to make our visit most memorable. We were welcomed to beautiful rooms with a bottle of wine waiting and all the amenities. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and always wanting to help in any way. The location was also superb and close to the popular San Gimignano old town. We highly recommend this place and would definitely visit again. Thank you!"
"We were very happy with our experience in Tuscany... however, found it very difficult to get a taxi. One super kind lady at front desk with light hair helped us,... she called around until she could get us one.. then reserved it for us 2 days out.
That was really the only issue...
The poolside was so lovely and the breakfast each day AMAZING!!!!!!!
Cant say enough.
would love to stay there again!..

"We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it. We had a beautiful shared terrace with incredible views over the Tuscan countryside. The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and modern and we he hotel was well placed for an easy walk in the the town and to see all the sights. We ate at the hotel’s restaurant for our evening meal and enjoyed the same panoramic views and the food and service was exceptional. We also used the hotel’s covered parking garage space, which was easy and very convenient and removed any stress of finding parking on arrival (but book with the hotel in advance as spaces are limited). Overall a fantastic stay and we would definitely return, thank you!"
"My wife and I stayed in il casolare Di bucciano in early June and it was absolutely brilliant! Well-run family business that really cares for their guests. They’ve replied to emails witg queries, including recommendations for excursions, all in a friendly and inviting manner.
We’ve stayed in the suite and it was lovely. Big room, comfortable bed, all clean and tidy with a true vibe of Toscana’s countryside.
The views from the room and the terrace where breakfast is served is stunning, they really got a precious piece of real estate there, not sure you’ll find better views of San Gimignano and the surrounding rolling hills anywhere else.
We also had wine tasting and lunch at the cellar which is a few kilometres away, was amazing and tasty, most recommended.
We had dinner at the boutique hotel and it was absolutely delicious, fantastic home made food of local cuisine, you can tell how fresh the ingredients are, at a decent price, so do not pass on that dinner!
If you read so far, stop looking for other agritourismo in the area and book yourself a stay at il casolare Di bucciano , I honestly believe you won’t regret it.
Thank you Teresa and the family for a lovely holiday we won’t forget!"
"The facilities are well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the setting in the Tuscan countryside is wonderful. Very peaceful and serine. The pool is clean and refreshing. The location is perfect, being just far enough away from the daily crowds in the town of San Gimignano, but close enough to visit before 10 AM and after dusk.
The included daily breakfast was a perfect start to our day! Lots of fresh fruit, juice, yogurts, granolas, breads and cold cuts. And, of course, the espresso machine!
The property is family owned and operated (they live on-site) and are there to see that your every need is attended to. The on-site restaurant is also family owned and operated, with a nice variety of entrees at reasonable prices. A good wine selection, too!
The only cons are:
- The parking is problematic (as it is everywhere in Italy) with limited spaces on property and an 'overflow' area in a vineyard across the highway.
- The A/C is controlled by the management... So they decide if it is available, which, in our case, it was not, and that made for some uncomfortable nights as the only fresh air to the room was via the balcony doors which are unscreened."
