"This hotel is close to downtown Catania (about 2 km walk). We were able to choose between a room downstairs or a suite upstairs. We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us. "It's the efficient and helpful staff that makes Liberty hotel a worthwhile stay. Of course the old world Victorian furniture rooms has a charm too. Our arrival was awesome. Silvio recessed is with a lot of enthusiasm. Helped us with parking, topping up had for our rented car just before we were to return it. It was a one man show - until we meet the others - Antonio, Valentina etc.... Everyone wanted to take care of us.... Lovely experience!"

The only complaint was the restaurant in place the pasta dish was awful is unfortunately that happens in a fantastic location they should be more concerned about the quality of the food. Even the breakfast the scramble eggs need attention."

"Very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Room was a good size and a nice sea view. Room was well sound proofed from outside road noise; it was nice to sit on the balcony in the evening. Parking underground at €10 per night and we used their travel cot for our little one. Approximately 20mins from Catania Airport."

"It was a perfect location, close to town across the street from the beach pool on site. Breakfast options but my air conditioner in my room did not work and it was very hot. I was extremely uncomfortable. when I notified the staff they sent someone immediately only to be told it’s working properly. Apparently the front desk controls your thermostat. They said they lower mine. very strange. But it was extremely hot and I did not feel any air blowing."
