"Where to start? First let me say that Ambar are condos, not a resort so each unit is individually owned & most are managed by different property managers. Our unit was managed by GPS Hospedajes Vacacionales. I could not get access to the property, they told me to see the administator who was not there for the 1st 6 days of our week there. The security guard was also no help. Once we did get in, there were no face cloths, hand towels, bath towels, dish cloths or dish towels. There were no pillow...

"Our shower wouldn’t drain the first day and we were standing in inches of water. The maintenance team did fix it the next day but it’s was an unpleasant experience to start. The toilet seat was also not the right size and was not easy to open. It would pinch your legs and slide around. We requested towels multiple times and never received any. We needed up snagging them off a housekeeping cart when we saw one. We had some drinks by the pool, which was nice, but we couldn’t charge it to the room. We were told we needed to open an account with the front desk (which was never offered) but the cc machine didn’t work either. We did end up paying for it at the front desk when we checked out."
