"This is a comfortable lodge. Our room was spacious and clean. But we had a walk up room from the parking lot which was a bit of a hike. Also the walls are very thin and they dont have any quiet hours. Our neighbors stayed up past midnight talking and playing music and we were super exhausted from a day of hiking and had to ask them to keep it down twice. It would be good to enforce some quiet hours. The breakfast at hotel Ficus was good and we enjoyed the happy hour. Overall it was pricey for the walk up room and thin walls. Also floors were slippery. And no pool or hot tub."

"What a gem! from a warm welcome at check in to checkout Tityra lodge was a oasis in the mountains. We stayed as a family of four and and two bedrooms. The lodge was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and although small there was plenty of choice. They even remembered my wife’s allergy which was mentioned at check in and highlighted unsuitable foods. We used the hot tub which was a lovely treat. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around the boundary trail. It is a car drive from monteverde so would recommend if you have a car."
