"The Peace Lodge is a tranquil escape. There are not very many rooms, so the grounds are quiet. You get the opportunity to walk through the animal sanctuary on the grounds. The resort dog Rusty was very friendly and a welcome sight. The menus were on the expensive side and some more affordable options would be welcome, but the quality of the food was excellent."

"We really enjoyed our stay here, it was the perfect spot for a getaway close to San José. The trails on the property are amazing, with waterfalls, lush landscapes, and beautiful flora all around. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making our experience even better."

"The property and surroundings were beautiful. The room was very nice and fit our family of four perfectly. We loved hearing the nature noise maker surrounding us and the nature hike was really fun too. I would recommend a 4x4 to get to the property, it is a good ways up a bumpy road."
