"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. "A magical hotel at the foot of the Arenal volcano, nestled within the rainforest. The hotel is well-kept, with beautiful wooden cabins, a hot pool and a stunning regular pool. Breakfast is dreamy, with a breathtaking view of the volcano. All the attractions are just a short drive away, and the service is excellent. It is highly recommended to book a massage at the spa, as it was one of the best we have ever experienced"
