I overnighted at this property to be closer to the airport after a week of touring Costa Rica. I didn’t have time to use many facilities, but the check in was quick. Room was a bit far from the lobby. Welcome letter and dessert was appreciated. It was convenient that the hotel offered complimentary airport shuttle, which operated every hour beginning 5am.

The front desk was not very warm which was off because everywhere else everyone was so kind. I was excited I was staring at a hotel bc my phone screen went blank and had no phone access so was sure I would get help from the hotel staff at check in but they didn’t seem to care to help me make local calls or anything. At one point there was only one person at the check in… he was overwhelmed and hung up the phone on me when I called to ask for towels since my room didn’t have any. I had to go to the front and get my own towel which he then gave me a pool towel and didn’t even apologize for his poor behavior. Lady who checked me out at 4 Am on April 28th was amazing I wish she was the one who helped me check in. There was a market 10 min walking distance which was great since I only spent 1 night and needed a few things. The steak at Quattro resto on site was amazing and so was the waiter. No answer on the phone for customer service, for room service, or from the restaurants on site I had to go.

I had to unexpectedly book this hotel as I had a flight delay in San Jose Costa Rica. Several factors influenced my decision. The photos in the app appeared nice and I've typical had good results through Expedia with photos matching the property. I also chose it specifically because there was an airport shuttle included. After waiting an hour and not seeing a shuttle I called the property directly. I was told that they had a shuttle but that it must be reserved 24 hours in advance. They offered to send a taxi. When the "taxi" arrived, it was a Wyndham Shuttle bus however charged me $25. I was told I'd have to do the same upon my return to airport. After arriving at the hotel I waited 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. It took an additional 40 minutes just to check in. The hotel is very run down and the pics on the app site must be from 30 years ago. There was no furniture at the pools. The pools were full of dirt. The bathroom in my room had mold everywhere. There were water stains from cups on the counters that had not even been wiped. The floor was so dirty that I didn't want to take my shoes off. The mattress was so worn you could see the springs through the comforter. The alarm clock in the room didn't work. I had an early flight and tried to ask for a wakeup call and was informed that they would only do it if I downloaded an app.My phone was damaged and I couldn't use it to do that or for an alarm. There were bugs in the bed.

The staff service was exceptional. They were able to get us a room at 5am after a flight cancelation, and advised a shuttle was on the way to get us. Upon checking in, the room we were given was outdated with thin low quality sheets, an old crusty couch, stained curtains and carpet. We picked this location for the pool but it was scummy but they were working on one of them. We were going to leave but they upgraded us to a suite. This room was much better and had higher quality linens including a duvet. This was fine for our unexpected 2 day stay.

Hot tub did not work, pools needs more maintenance, water looked green and dirty, also the whirlpool at the room did not work, and after shower there was water everywhere. Also, advertised free shuttle to the airport, but is not available 24 hrs.

Beautiful setting. A variety of amenities and multiple pools. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Our room didn't have hot water as soon as we git to the hotel they gave us a cheaper room
Jacuzzi inside pool didn't have hot water either
Zakura restaurant was closed and the only one open Quatro was HORRIBLE. DON NOT GO THERE!!!! food was disgusting and horrible, they only had 1 person the "chef" if there was one ( we still believe it was the same guy making everything and thats the reason why he kept dissappearing. He was friendly but the poor guys was the host, bartender, cashier, boss boy, and i still believed he was trying to cook I really didn't see anybody else there. It was just to kuch for 1 person. We took a bite of the food we ordered and almost threw up.
Rooms were Outdated but quiet and clean. They kept forgetting to leave towels in the morning but ok.
Staff was really friendly
Location is not the best. Away from all the attractions but if u are only staying or passing by for 1 day is ok.

Stayed here for one night. Older hotel. Room smelled a little weird. Bathroom was very outdated. No hot water for a shower. That really sucked after a long day. At check in I confirmed that breakfast was included and when we went to eat, we were declined. Very disappointed. I actually booked this one night stay because it was included. Overall would not go back. Not impressed at all.

Hotel seems old and empty. They turn on lights in rooms so it seems occupied. Water pressure was terrible and carpet kind of sticky. Gym has no AC or ventilation.

We arrived on a Thursday so it was quite until the weekend stopped by the casino for a second. Visited quattro restaurant the food was ok, Sakura was closed.i enjoyed the pool and hot tub/warm tub.great dessert shop.
Garden view area needs work.

The pictures are definitely from a newer section of the hotel. Everything is very outdated and we didn’t feel like the pool was cleaned to go enjoy it..
There was also some sort of alarm or beeping noise outside that lasted all night! Drove us crazy!
The shuttle to the airport is not 24h either. If you have an early am flight, shuttle leave a 5am the earliest.
If you’re stuck and is low on $$ it’s fine, otherwise avoid.
