"Amazing property, right in the heart of historic Quito. The room was extremely clean, and the staff was amazing. Only downside was it got quite noisy at night (outside traffic), but it is to be expected with such a centrally-located place. Overall, we were quite pleased with this hotel, and would definately stay there again! "

"The hotel is small with the staff giving great attention to details. The room was large, beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed. The common areas were very inviting. We went to a chocolate tasting given by a young man whose family owns a farm. Well done! Taxis dropped us off at the door but with a map from the concierge we went out during the day and felt safe. We ate our meals here. The food was delicious and very reasonable. At the beginning of our Galapagos tour we stayed at another hotel in the main square area but this one was far better! The City of Quito museum is a short walk away.Excellent history from hunter and gatherers to present."

"Amazing hotel, James was extremely helpful, breakfast was nice, typical of all the hotels I used in Ecuador. Location to Old Town was excellent and only a $15 cab from historic equatorial line (mitad del Mundo) Only point I'd make is for some the hotel may feel cold although there is a tower heater in the bedroom which worked well. "
