The hotel is incredibly convenient to the airport, and the shuttle driver was great. The front desk person apparently needed a break because she was not. I ate dinner at the lobby testaurant and it was good, as was the server.

The hotel was great the bartender the waitress it was clean and the staff was very friendly but the person who made our weekend be over the top amazing was David he is at the front desk apparently an issue happened and our reservation was not showing up because of that our room was not available but David looked and found us a room I cannot thank him enough our whole family was extremely thankful to him when people show up they should ask for him he will great you with a smile thank you double tree

This hotel is like a trip back to the 80s with vintage decor. Wowza. The bed was super comfortable and it’s incredibly close to/ convenient to the airport. The food at the bar was good. But…. The room was not clean - the toilet clearly had pee drops all around the floor that hadn’t been cleaned repeatedly (to the extent I wore shoes the whole time). The wall plate light switches were dirty. The wallpaper was dirty. The couch was filthy. The floor = ugh!!! It needs a total renovation. Why didn’t I switch rooms you might ask? I had two colleagues who did that before I checked in, and they requested different rooms, and the level of cleanliness for what they got in their second room was not worth switching for. Trying to be nice with a few positives, but I’d suggest a different hotel if you have options.

Room was spacious but smelled like cigarettes when we first arrived. Decor is definitely outdated. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. No refrigerator available. Dining was limited... ate at the bar/lounge area. Food was overpriced and salty... Starbucks attendant gave off a substandard vibe like she didn't want to be there. Ample parking. Parking lot in need of surface maintenance. Overall, a 7.5 rating out of 10. Location was isolated... no service i.e. restaurants, shopping in the area. Close to the freeway and downtown... but not within walking distance.

Customer service and the warm cookies are excellent!! Each time we go to San Jose, we always stay here because the food and drinks is so good in the lobby lounge, the pool and jacuzzi beats any I've stayed at; both lounge and pool are open till 11pm, like what!! And OMG, you get a real nice swim becauae the pool os deep!! The rooms are older and they used a strong furniture spray, but great amenities including the balcony. Coffee at stand is the best too when you are on the go!!! I don't stay anywhere else out here, always my # 1 !! Thanks so much San Jose DT!! We shall see you soon!!

At first look, a beautiful property, nice lobby , multiple restaurants and a gift shop. But it was a different story past the elevator. We stayed on the 4th floor, it was very outdated and seemed like a completely different hotel.
