"This place is perfect for a seasoned solo traveler. It’s very safe and the inkeeper is absolutely wonderful. I stayed here alone and ventured out to see other areas and left my belongings here and returned four days later. It’s close to the central Market and a quick cheap uber ride. I walked to the local restaurant with the best views of San Jose..
Is it pampering? No. It’s clean and simple. Breakfast cooked by the inkeeper makes it feel like home. I appreciated this property so much because it was quiet. I planned my activities in other places but it was nice to come back here and enjoy the hospitality of a local owner. I would stay here again.❤️"
"We got in late and had a long stressful day and were hoping to have a drink. The bar was about to close but the bartender kept it open just for us so we were able to have a couple of beers to help decompress. The breakfast was wonderful!!!"
