A rustic place surrounded by beautiful vegetation. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The amenities provided are very basic and the pool could use some maintenance; however, it was pretty clean. We would definitely visit again on weekdays for a relaxing time!

We stayed for 1 night. It is very peaceful, and the surrounding area and the views are nice. They were very friendly and helpful, allowing us to do a very late check in. The pool area is nice. The rooms are rustic and simple, but comfortable. There’s free available parking, as well as a nearby tennis court and cycling track.

The washroom was difficult… hard to enter and exit. You had to deal with a very high step (about 1 foot). This is very much a safety concern. The front light outside was on all night the 1st night we were there. The front door did not have a blind to shield it. They turned it off for us the 2nd night. It was a very old room but the bed was quite comfortable. They only gave each of us a bottle of water the 1st day. I had to ask them to give us one the 2nd day. There was only 1 small bar of soap. The bed was not made up until 4 PM the 2nd day until I asked them about this. Also I had to ask them then to give us clean towels. The pool area was lovely as was breakfast. Hotel has a beautiful setting with a view of Lake Chapala.

La experiencia fue muy decepcionante, especialmente por el precio de casi $4,000 pesos por noche. La alberca estaba sucia y helada, la cancha de tenis no tenía red y las pelotas terminaban perdiéndose entre los caballos. El desayuno era muy limitado y de mala calidad, prácticamente teniendo que elegir entre café, jugo, chilaquiles o huevo. La regadera estaba llena de lama y hongos, y estaba tan tapada que casi no salía agua. El wifi nunca funcionó, y tampoco encontramos opciones cerca para cenar. Por el precio que cobran, esperábamos instalaciones en buenas condiciones y servicios básicos funcionando. Lamentablemente, nada de eso estuvo a la altura de nuestras expectativas. Una gran decepción. Definitivamente, no volveríamos.
