Free Upgrade!

I checked in & it looks like the hostel dormitory was being repainted so I got upgraded into room 56 at no charge! So I have a private room with a king size bed, a private bathroom & a tv that I plugged an HDMI cord into & streamed from my laptop on. Great setup, right on the beach, nice pool, water seemed clean, lots of places to sit & lounge around. Unfortunately the workers who were doing some repairs the day I arrived left a lot of metal clippings around the gate to the beach, so I won’t be walking in or out barefoot. The pool is good enough to do some short laps in & I was happy to do some swimming without getting pushed around by the waves. The ocean is nice & cool compared to where I was up north recently, so refreshing to get out of the heat & into the surf!

We really loved the place. The manager Juan is super nice and treats guests with full respect. Our room was great and super clean. The only disadvantage with the location is that the hotel is across the river so you need to take a boat at 10 cordobas each time to cross. Locals pay 5 cordobas. There used to be a bridge before, but was washed out by the tsunami of 2012. There is a road behind the hotel, you can use to reach Pali much faster (1km)… no need to cross the bridge. The pool is well maintained and ALWAYS clean. We loved it here and even extended our stay by another week. Way the go Juan… we love you!

Management is horrible.. the y change me from room to room-. With out advice - no management on site - they only had a person that has no idea what he is doing - wverything is control from Managua - they do what ever they want with - customers — This is horrible place to stay- No customer service - I ask please to considered that I was with my kids , but no consideration - i ask to talk to management - nothing - the owner of this place doesn't care about guest -

When I arrivevto the property understood why reservation could not be cancelled and no refund. The property was not clean. Dirty matress and disgusting pillow. The person that was incharge in the place only received order from Managua. She doesn't have authority, she can't decide or solve situation. Expedia should review their clients service and assume responsibility

The photos you show on your advertising is nothing compared when you get to the hotel, for starters they give us a room with a broken window, all the heat from outside was coming inside, and because of the same broken window all the mosquitos a d geckos were coming inside too. We left that property and went to look for something better for my family because i wasn't going to put them thru the rest of my stay (we are on vacation and I want the best for my family) The safty issue was they had electronic locks with a code, but every code was written in the paper identifying the rooms. Might is well just leave the door open, the glass shower door it was held with clear tape.

Unsatisfied family.

We were very disappointed with our stay here. The pool was dirty so we didn’t swim. The room was very uncomfortable. Bad beds. The king bed was two twins pushed together. Couldn’t get out of the bathroom without help because a bunk bed overhung and blocked the door. Cracks in the sliding door big enough for mosquitos to fly in so we stuffed this with towels. They failed to tell us we had breakfast included until after our second night when we were leaving. Loud music and not well sound proofed. For how much we paid i I was expecting much nicer.

Para empezar debería llamarse hostal y no hotel como aparecen en expedía, pague por 2 habitaciones y solo me brindaron 1, éramos 3 personas y solo nos brindaron 2 toallas, no había ni jabón en el baño, cuando solicitó una solución me llamo un señor muy irrespetuoso y sin ningún tipo de servicio al cliente, un trató espantoso, jamás volvería, y expedia no me soluciono absolutamente nada, me dicen que el dueño no reportó inconvenientes, la verdad sin palabras. Si no quieren empezar mal sus vacaciones, no reserven en este lugar.

En el hotel tuvimos que pedir las toallas, no habian en la habitacion, cuando las pedimos solo cuatro enviaron y después no mandaron mas aun pidiendo toallas por segunda vez , eramos seis personas en total, tampoco tenian jabon para bañarnos, lo pedimos y nos dijeron que ellos no dan jabon, entonces me enoje y fui a la calle a comprar porque con agua solamente uno no se baña, no vuelvo a quedarme aqui , ni tampoco aconsejo a nadie

Real big problem .. they over book and they send me to a next door place for 2 day until they had open room on the hotel I book.. the people on the other place was real bad. No manager onsite to give a better service.. only a care taker .. no professionalism. . I ask for extra bed. . It couldn't be done . Extra breakfast for a friend , they couldn't give it to me . I had a real bad time there.

The place need some renovations. They don't have a bar or restaurant in the location, but they used to have. The room lacked some furniture (night stand, drawers), no hot water, no hair dryer. The good things: right in front of the beach, not so expensive, the 2 staff that were there were very friendly and attentive; the hotel is not right at the bay, so no big noises waking you up.

Mi estadía por hotel Mozonte San Juan.

El hotel esta bien ubicado propiamente frente al mar. Las habitaciones estaban comodas, amplias y limpias. El personal de servicio del hotel muy pero muy amables ( tanto el joven de recepción y que ve todo en general; y las muchachas de limpieza y cocina). Valoro también que tuviera parque seguro y que la piscina estaba muy limpia. Si considero que tiene que haber una mejor coordinación en el tema de las reservas con Managua, y que las habitaciones que te vendan en la plataforma sean las que te den. Regresaría a este lugar.

Place is nice, just don't plan on sleep you are there on a Sunday. Been in Nica 2 months now and booked this place for 1 night on the end of the beach thinking it would be quiet after already spent a week in town, left and came back, just needed a night to catch a shuttle. The music from the beach parties like a normal Sunday was good. Around 5 the music got a lot louder, it was what I figured, 1 young hotel worker blasting the speakers like a 16 year old kid driving through a shopping center so everyone could see how cool he is. That lasted till I left for dinner. Then the club started up across the river. Sounded fun but that went on till 4am.
