My husband and I come to Morro Bay several times a year. Our favorite place to stay is The Masterpiece. Very clean, easy parking, great rooms and courteous and welcoming staff. Very nice breakfast as well.

The whole stay was good. We stay two nights the only thing we didn’t like was there was no more breakfast by 9:00am. But over all the place was cleaned and nice very close to Moro rock.

The front staff was friendly and knowledgable. The location was really convenient. The room was nice and roomy. The breakfast croissants were delicious. Very comfortable. Short drive from the embarcadero where we saw otters and the famed Morro Rock. Would love to stay again.

Great! Clean and comfortable! The place is probably fairly old, but so well kept up, it didn't feel old. It was actually very cute with artwork everywhere and pristine, freshly painted walls. The staff were all very nice. Breakfast was very good - had warm croissant sandwiches and oatmeal. The hot tub was not quite as hot as I would have liked but other than that a perfect stay. Would absolutely stay again.

Great service and rooms were a great size! Showers were nice and super friendly and on top of everything. Masterpiece is nice, clean, and we enjoyed the hot tub & exercise room. It is a reasonable walk to Morrow Bay's touristy wharf area. However, the included breakfast was weak (so-so croissant sandwiches & oatmeal) and the front desk person was not especially friendly or helpful.

The Roman hot tub is spacious and clean and the perfect temperature at about 100°. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good if not too exciting. They have a selection of croissants which were surprisingly high-quality and delicious.
