Staff at front desk had no courtesy or charm. Wifi didn't work. We had to make a line to check as there was a delay with their online website. There was no customer service aspect to make up for the deficiencies. There seems to be a lack of concern for customer satisfaction.

Great hotel to stay in if you’re looking for a place to stay without the bells and whistles. This place was perfect for my weekend get away. You’re about at 10 min walk to the center of SLO. The service was great and very accommodating when needed.

I was driving 5 hrs from San Diego after work, so I called ahead to let staff know we would be arriving at 12:30. On the phone he said I needed to arrive by 11:30 then hung up…tried again, hung up. Had my husband call from home, and he said “fine, see you then”and hung up. When I arrived, I said I didn’t see on website that we had to arrive by 11:30p. He said “ it takes 5 hours, and I should use this”, and he tapped his head. I said just check me in. At that point, exhausted, and frustrated, I took care of check in and walked away. I’ll never be there again, because I never want to be treated like that again.

My room reeked of cigarette smoke. It was horribly disgusting to sleep in the room.

The room could use some deep cleaning. The coffee pot had old moldy coffee from the previous tenant. The shower was suppose to slide up and down for different heights and it was broken so it was perfect for someone 4 ft tall. The receptionist was not too friendly.
