"We were concerned about parking for a rental car as they could not confirm that we would have a spot. I understand there are options nearby but it turned out with our arrival around 4 pm that there was a spot available . Very tight to fit into one of two sites available - but it did. There are only about 10 slots under the hotel. Location is very nice in a quiet section of town. .About a 15 minute walk to the area with open shops and restaurants in the evening. Very good breakfast. Perfect for an overnight en route stop for us. Excellent staff - helpful and friendly. Getting in and out of that area was ok but be prepared for some narrow streets with a car."

"Set on the side of a hill overlooking the city of Toledo, the hotel is ideally placed away from the busy city but is easily reached by taking the No.71 bus into the centre using the bus stop outside the hotel entrance. If you want a room with a good view, you need to be at the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor (ground level - hotel entrance) or 4th floor. 1st floor at the back has an outside seating area. A continental breakfast was available which was nice, however the restaurant was not open Sunday or Monday evenings - this may be different during high season. Free parking is limited and the staff are very friendly, helpful and speak good English. We would stay there again."

"Perfect location across the river and short walking distance to a great view of Toledo. The bus stop to the city centre is just right next to the hotel. Nice and quiet area away from the busy city centre but just 15 mins bus ride away. Highly recommended!"

"Spectacular hotel. Historical, cultural and beautiful. Location was wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic and everything was extremely clean. Only suggestions relate to toiletry amenities - hardly any soap provided in the bathroom and really nothing else. For a hotel of this caliber the expectation is to get nice toiletries to use. That is a very simple fix!!"
