"We stayed at Casa 63 off Mesones for a birthday weekend getaway. The hotel sits just north of the center, right across the street, so everything is within easy walking distance. Caesar and Jesus were incredibly helpful. They arranged our airport pickup and drop-off and booked our tours, and when plans didn’t go according to schedule, they quickly came up with alternatives. We stayed in a room in the interior of the building, and it was very clean. The bed was firm, with just enough cushion to sink in and fall into a deep sleep. The linens and pillows were clean and very comfortable. My only small gripe: the bathroom has a sliding barn door that doesn’t close completely, so there isn’t much privacy. I’d read a few reviews mentioning noise, but we didn’t experience anything that kept us up. Just be aware that the church bells ring several times early in the morning. That’s part of the culture and charm of San Miguel. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we’d stay again!"

"The water was cold in most of our stay. There were times that it would come out hot, but just for a little bit. Amenities and staff were very nice and it is in waking distance to the main plaza. Excellent location"

"Place was just perfect for our lil stay, wish we had more time there to enjoy it more and try their restaurant- so close to the locations we were going to visit and most importantly very safe! Staff was very courteous and helpful with holding our luggage after our checkout was much appreciated ! Thank you!!"

"La Casona was a wonderful stay. Breakfast was nice, coffee & staff were great! Room was comfortable & clean, loved the Wi-Fi. The only thing that could be better is the water pressure and temperature in the shower. I wanted it to be warmer and better water pressure. Would be nice to have a pool. I would stay here again as I think it was a good value."

"We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is walking distance from the cathedral and has beautiful rooftop views. Our room was clean and had a beautiful balcony. Staff was amazing and attentive. Would stay here again!"
