Rosie the Office Manager was very helpful with changing our time for the water taxi. Ashanti the bartender made the best dirty banana I have ever enjoyed. Paulina our housekeeper did an excellent job in maintaining the order and cleanness of our room. Mike the maintenance man educated us on the culture of the people of Ambergris Caye and recommended the best restaurants on the island.

The view was incredible. The room was in need of basic upgrades - kitchen and bathroom faucets are very old and rusty. A newer comforter and bath mat without tears would be a nice upgrade.

This was our third trip to San Pedro and first stay at White Sands Cove, we would definitely stay again. This unit is a beautiful private spot in a quiet enclave of condo owners a couple miles north of town. The facility is gorgeous with birds all over, big mature trees and flowers lining sand paths and the beach. Clean, well-appointed rooms and our phone service, TV and internet worked well (plan for slower speeds at times but always usable). Rosie and the staff were lovely and on top of things. We had storms and got eaten alive by sand flies, don’t forget the bug spray and bite treatments.

The codo was spacious and the AC worked great. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking implements. We were provided with purified water and they refilled it several times. They picked us up from the water taxi and also drove us to the airport on the last day. They helped us rent a golf cart at a great price and coordinated our at home COVID tests. The people were the best! We loved our trip and would stay at this location again.

The rooms were great with bedroom being airconditioned and kitchen area being more like the outdoors. The floor being tiled was great. Loved the pool and the bar. Staff was so warm and welcoming and went out of their way to serve and wait on us. We really enjoyed our 4 night and 4 1/2 day stay. TV's in both rooms were nice.

White Sands Cove is beautiful and in a great location. The staff were amazing! We had all our needs exceeded and saw a friendly face every time we went down to the pool or bar or office. Thanks for a great experience!

This property is just lovely, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We did have an issue with the fridge that they were not able to resolve, but they did try. The location is not too far from town, but far enough away so that it is quiet. You do need a golf cart here.

Great hotel great location
Overall had a great stay in San Pedro at white sands cove. The room was clean and spacious and staff was friendly. We got a welcome drink upon arrival and the on site restaurant was delicious. Great location north of the town so it was more quiet and felt safe. The only issue with San Pedro is an issue plaguing the Caribbean area as a whole. Sargassum is the stinky algae that washes up on shore and smells like rotten eggs. The entire east side is covered on the island. White sands has a barricade to prevent it from washing up but this means no ocean access. The pool was nice though and secret beach is really close by

White Sands Cove is a welcoming place with private rooms, a gathering area, and very polite staff. They have taken the extra steps for cleanliness and safety and the manager Alec is very helpful and you can tell he loves his job. Thank you White Sands for a great stay!

White Sands was everything it wa said to be. Nice quiet and peaceful. The staff, Rosie, Vanesa, Britany, and Lauren were always available to help or give you advice on where to go. I will be back next year and plan to stay once again at the White Sands

Relaxing White Sands Cove
White sands cove was amazing! When I first arrived at San Pedro, I booked the Hotel. When I was headed to the hotel, I was a bit nervous because it seemed far. It wasn’t actually far. I was greeted during check-in, by my name. I was shocked. I was offered a drink while we went over the paperwork by the pool and bar! Room was extremely nice. My only complaint would be the bar was a tad expensive. I paid the U.S prices for drinks. I would definitely recommend and return but just avoid the pricey bar. 😊

The facilities, the grounds and the staff were all wonderful. I do have one complaint though. The water used for the showers and sinks is purified sea water. When the purification system was working everything was great. However, there were 2 days during our stay when it wasn’t working. When you went to turn on a faucet or take a shower there was an overpowering sulfur odor and the water was extremely salty. Not fun when you’ve been out in the sun and humidity and want to take shower to cool and clean off.

All of the staff was so friendly and helpful, you couldn't ask for better people. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained but our room was in need of some minor repairs. Over all we loved it and would return there again.

This was a great location outside of town but easily accessible by golfcart. It was a lovely condo, and the staff were generally good. Brittany made great drinks at the bar (especially the Island Stumbler), and the restaurant was good (though pricey). We had two problems with this stay though: 1) The first night, the sheets were sandy, and it was obvious they had not been changed; and 2) The first two nights, we had no water in our unit. We had to take bowls from the filtered water dispenser and pour them over ourselves just to wash our hands and faces. To its credit, the White Sands Cove did refund us one night's stay due to the water problem. The front desk also arranged snorkeling and a massage. Overall, this is a nice, somewhat quirky place.

My wife like the laid-back atmosphere at the pool nice and quiet very clean and organized. The staff really made the stay for us. Rosie, Herman, Bridget, and Vanessa were outstanding. What I did not like is there was no safe in the room, iron, blow dryer. The safe was the big deal for me. I don't understand why the resort would not have a safe in the room? Rosie put some things away for us in the office safe, but if some discrepancies or items came up missing then the staff is in the middle of it. I don't know why you would put your staff through the liability of handling other people's properties and values. Put a safe in the room keep them out of the middle of it. Hopefully when we come back there will be a small safe in the room.

This property was beautiful however, there was mold growing in the shower. We would leave the resort for the entire day and when we returned nobody from housecleaning had even touched the room, the bed was left in attended, we had to request cleaning services and new towels each day. The WiFi in the rooms did not work at all and in order to connect to the internet you must sit by the bar. Also management are complete scam artists upon check out they said we were all set. Then when they thought we were off the island they attempted to charge our card AGAIN without any authorization. Do not book your vacation here they are money hungry scam artists.

WSC is small and quiet with units consisting of duplex apartments. Its smallness gives a wonderful island feel. Oceanfront lounge chairs are comfortable, but other amenities are pretty basic. Food is ordinary and suffices for a few meals.

Bed needs to be updated. No longer comfy. I liked that you could purchase fruits and vegetables right at resort from local. This would be even better if it was advertised. Even a bulletin would work. I wonder what we missed?

We do not advertise the fruits and veggies because sometimes they do not show up for the entire week and that means that customers are mad because of false advertisement. I can not say enough good things about our stay here. First of all.....a big shout out to Britney and Vanessa behind the bar for breakfast, lunch, dinner, after hours and all the shenanigans in between. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The management went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! Terri and Rosie (aka Salad) at the front desk will greet you with a smile and help your dreams come true. Can't wait to return!
