"When we arrived at the apartment and called the host he said there was an issue with the current apartment and there was another that he was going to send us to. I had read a previous review with the same situation and it just felt like it was a scam.we didn't feel safe going to another location.the host wasn't willing to work with us to help us get a refund. Please be careful when booking here."

"Estero y Mar was amazing! Dining while watching the waves break, walking along the beach finding amazing shells, and cool comfortable rooms overlooking the estuary were just a few of the highlights. My family loved it!"

"This hotel is definitely up and coming! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pools, the beach and the beach view from the room were amazing and that made up for any small things that were not up to par. The breakfast included was great, but the rest of the meals in the restaurant were a bit expensive for El Sal's standards. But since there's really nothing nearby, we had to splurge on the food. Just be prepared for that expense. We also ran out of sunblock and we ended up having to spend $25 😬on a bottle at the front desk. No choice. The rooms were clean and pristine. However, the shower curtain we had did not hold the water back. It was annoying. We asked for extra towels at the front desk and they never came. I had to find a cleaning lady and ask her myself. She was prompt! Overall, I did like it, and would return!"

"Un lugar muy bonito, tranquilo, ideal para relajarse y descansar, las habitaciones y las instalaciones son muy cómodas y bonitas. Con el restaurante deben de mejorar el servicio con tiempos de entrega de la comida, cené y desayuné en el restaurante y para la cena se tardaron casi 2 horas para darme unos simples panes con pollo que ordené, y eso que tuve que ir a preguntar porque si no no me los llevan a mi mesa y con el desayuno esperé un poco más de 1 hora y igual había que estar ahí preguntando y casi hostigar a los trabajadores de servicio para preguntar cómo iban con la orden, es el único punto que deben mejor, con todo lo demás muy bien, la verdad volvería nuevamente, pero con el tema del restaurante pensaría nuevamente si consumir o no, por los tiempos tardíos"
