This was our first time in Zipolite and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was super friendly, the included daily breakfast was a nice perk that helped us have one less thing to worry about. The pool was also nice to relax in the shade after getting sun at the beach. Overall a very nice hotel in a perfect location next to playa del amor.

We stayed here for two nights in February 2024. We absolutely loved this property - lovely kind staff, great breakfast and location was awesome. While not directly on the beach you can hear the waves roll in all night and see the water from the room. It was a two minute walk to Playa del Amor and very quiet. Only a 10 minute walk down to the beach to all of the restaurants etc.

Casa Playa del Amor was such a lovely hotel for my stay in Zipolite. It's only steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. It's located in a quieter area of town—which was great to come back to the room for a good nights sleep—but was easily walkable to the main strip as well as the bars and restaurants along the beach. The property itself felt very peaceful, filled with trees, plants, and flowers and had nice places to relax and hang outside. The rooms were a nice size, super clean and nicely decorated. All of the staff I met were super helpful and served a nice little breakfast to start my day. I definitely recommend staying here while in Zipolite!

What a great place. Definitely recommend especially during low season. It's clean. The staff are awesome. LGBT friendly AF. Short walk, 30 seconds, from the beach. Comfy bed, comfy sheets, good shower. Spot on!!

Delightful

Loved the area and closeness to the playa and the restaurants at this end were delicious. There was a bit of construction maintenance going on the first few days for the better. Pool needs some work but is refreshing. Stairs to the top room originally booked to steep and precarious for us. Lovely staff and owner to communicate with overall!

Enjoyable stay in an eco-friendly casa

Casa playa del amor is a very nice boutique hotel just two minutes walk to the beach. The owner and all people who work there are extremely nice and friendly. Rooms are simple yet unique in design. The only problem I had while staying there were roosters at very early hours. During my 5 nights there, rooms were not cleaned even once but perhaps it’s done by request. Overall I enjoyed my time there and would definitely come back

First the positive comment was the staff. She was communicative, friendly and trying to solve the problems. She messaged me through whatsapp several times and worked on the problem. The room itself was called a premium room. It was dingy and poorly lite. There was a elementary school out the back of the room and I like children, but it was noisy. A rooster also crowed for the few hours we were there. No air conditioning and ceiling fan didn't work. the windows would let in light and sea breeze but they had wooden shutters and no screens. The mosquitos would have eaten us alive at night. The bathroom door handle came off in my hand and we wondered about being locked in with no handle. To be honest it was a glorified hostel. If that is what you are looking for go for it! My wife and I checked in and went to the beach, had a beer and spotted a much nicer location just 500 m down the beach. Upon investigation we paid the three days at this property and paid again at the next. I was happy to do that as the mistake was mine and holidays are in short supply.

The property was beautiful and private. Really close to Playa Del Armor. The rooms were spacious and clean. Some have small refrigerators. Shampoo, body soap, and hand soap provided in the bathroom. Some of the amenities included a small pool with a relaxing lounge area. Fitness area with yoga mats, blocks and a foam roller. The breakfast every morning was also a perk! It was delicious every time! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable about the local community and very helpful.
