My son and I had an amazing stay at Coast Riders Inn. From the moment we arrived, Buddy, Vanessa and Jane made us feel welcomed and completely at home. They offered us homemade chocolate chip cookies upon arrival and explained to us the cool things to check out in the area. The rooms were super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The retro microwave, coffee, machine, and fridge/freezer were absolutely delightful! And Buddy’s Lego collection is awesome! We look forward to coming back to Coast Riders next time we’re in Central California and staying at this very special place! We loved it!!

The motel was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The bed sheets were challenging. Each morning, the fitted sheet corners needed adjusting. The shower water would be scalding hot one moment and, after adjusting, very cold. The water pressure was very low. The breakfast was more continental-style.

Who I assume are the owners at the front desk were super friendly and kind people, the room was nice and clean and the location was great with many local businesses within walking distance and conveniently located near Hearst castle. This place had an indoor pool that was open and great fresh coffee and snack in the morning, I would definitely recommend Coast Riders inn.

Very friendly and helpful folks at the front desk. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Smart TV, microwave, coffee maker, and cool red retro mini-fridge with freezer were nice to have in the room. Yummy cookies provided upon check-in, two free water bottles in the room and continental breakfast (pastries, breads, fruit, coffee, etc) were also appreciated. Location is terrific if visiting Hearst Castle. We’d stay there again.

I don’t know why Google Maps describes this place as a two star hotel. Hosts were very receptive at check in and gifted us cookies and other trinkets, parking was easy, the bed was large and comfortable, and the tv had a good set up. It is a great stop on highway one to wake up, do Hearst Castle early in the morning and continue the drive. Nearby Cambria has great restaurants for dinner too. Would recommend.

We had a pleasant stay at Coast Riders Inn. The staff was friendly, very accommodating for our late check in. The property was on a nice location, on the roadside and close to the Hearst castle. The had a nice breakfast. The rooms were a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Nice place in the middle of nowhere. Espoaftwr a long winding coastal drive.
