"Just an overnight stay before an early flight. Room was fine. Highway traffic sound was somewhat loud but I imagine all hotels in the area are the same. AC was not great and it was hotter than my optimal sleep temp."
"The property was previously a combo Clarion/Econolodge and is pretty run-down; Ramada is in the process of renovating but I feel like they’re taking their time. Still, for the price, it was serviceable (for a short stay) and the staff were wonderful and went above and beyond."
"I booked two rooms here for my family because the property advertised an indoor pool and breakfast. Unfortunately, the stay revealed several operational issues.
Shortly after booking through Expedia using the “pay at the hotel” option, the hotel attempted to “authorize” my card early because they were fully booked and I was told I would lose the rooms if the charge didn’t go through.
At check-in we were initially assigned a room that was clearly under renovation with open paint cans, supplies and debris inside. The front desk did move us after we returned downstairs, but this room should never have been in inventory.
Security was also concerning. Multiple exterior doors had signs stating they opened without a key, which did not inspire confidence as a guest.
Breakfast the next morning was poorly managed. Tables were dirty, items including juice were empty and my daughter cleaned a table herself so our family could sit. Shortly after we left, the area was roped off while staff members sat and ate the then replenished food.
After years as a hotel General Manager myself, I was surprised and disappointed by the number of preventable service breakdowns during a single stay.
When I asked if someone could reach out to the GM, I was told “We can only reach her through WhatsApp and she probably won’t answer”. This is a lovely hotel in a nice area. It has the potential to be great if stronger attention is given to operational standards, communication and service consistency."
