"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...

The property was exactly as advertised, in a great location and was spotless. Also, having tea and coffee at the property is only a small touch but has a great impact and shows Manu cares for guests. "Lovely start from start to finish. Even a standard classic room was a nice size, big bathroom and was comfy. Could not fault the food served for breakfast or evening meal - evening food was especially delicious. Didn’t use the pool facilities in the end but it looked a good size pool from going down to ask about spa prices on top of staying. Very well thought out for families staying - we don’t have children with us but have said we would absolutely return WITH the children. Lovely grounds to walk around too. Being near Silverstone is ideal for anyone wanting to visit the track. We walked to Sol wartime in about 30-45 minutes. The racing memorabilia in the Silverstone bar is a great touch for any f1 fan to look at."
