The proximity to Cedar Point was the main factor in booking the room, but we enjoyed the pool area and the breakfast. The property is older, but some upgrades were made to the rooms and it was overall a very good experience. The staff was helpful, and Rhonda, the employee in charge of the breakfast area, was absolutely wonderful. We will certainly consider staying here again on future trips to Cedar Point.

Room and hotel was clean. Staff, especially Don was awesome. His smile and personality would make me want to stay there if I came back through. I had a bad experience in a prior super 8 but this experience made up for it.

All the staff were so nice, especially the breakfast and cleaning ladies! Hotel is very clean and well maintained for the most part. We always choose this hotel when going to CP! Cookies in the evening were a special added treat too!

Super 8 in Sandusky has always been one of my go to hotels due to friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and the nice warm cookies during the summer months in the evenings. That’s a nice little touch!

Best hotel experience in Sandusky yet. The breakfast attendant was so cheerful and attentive, and the made to order pancakes were delicious. Each night they had fresh popcorn and pop and hot baked cookies and milk for a nighttime snack. The outdoor pool was clean and room was everything you’d expect. Location was so convenient for visiting Cedar Point, less than a 5 minute drive to being there!

The proximity to Cedar Point is amazing! The breakfast is also nice. Nothing super exciting about the rooms but they are nice. If you're going to ride some rollercoasters, I'd recommend bringing your own conditioner.

This is not a $100 a night hotel. This is a $50-60 night hotel. The rooms are terrible with holes and burns in carpet. Hotel has trees growing in the gutters, and the guests are trashy. The breakfast area was so small we couldn’t even make breakfast, although it seemed okay for kind of hotel it is. The staff was all great though. Very friends and helpful!

Staff and hotel were really good. We did not have hot water the first day, but that was the only downfall. Staff were friendly and the amenities were really nice. Kids really enjoyed the cookies, popcorn, and drinks.
