Beach Resorts in Sandy Bay

"We stayed in 211. Two Queen beds, kitchenette, full bathroom. Did not have a beach view as it was toward the back of the property. This made the room exceptionally quiet. The terrace has a beach view and is a wonderful place to have a morning coffee, or evening relax. The breakfast was perfect for us, 3 ladies. Probably not enough for my husband, had he been there. That being said the breakfasts were great. Just enough to get to through to lunch. Bean Crazy was amazing, coffee was great! I would 10/10 recommend and will be staying here again. "

"This hotel is vintage. The rooms are old and if you get the economy room its obvious. Spend the extra if you need more space and a decent view. The restaurants have great service. The breakfast vouchers were a blessing to compensate for poor WiFi. All in all it was a C+ and I was ready to go."

"Breakfast buffet was great and there were new options each morning. Really good coffee. The pizzas and tacos at Cayuco Bar are excellent. Nice beach chairs reserved for guests. A lot of the pool is shaded which is really nice after too much sun at the beach. "

"Our stay at Blue Bahia exceeded our expectations. Owners were very friendly, helpful, and available during our stay with daily WhatsApp updates. Restaurant/ bar has excellent food and drinks for reasonable prices. On site dive shop is a plus as they are very professional and reasonable as well with small dive groups. "

"Pool is beautiful but not as clean this year. The whole reserving seating and umbrellas is frustrating, especially when Infinity staff are reserving for guests."

"The standard room I stayed in (H) was just okay. The room could have been a little cleaner (dust). The room seemed like one of the older ones on the first floor but the back deck was nice with the hammock. I stayed one night in G and the room was beautiful with a process bed and seemed like a newer room. The water was not exactly hot though. My only advice is the shake out the hammock before you get into it and spray it with bug spray or something natural like a citrus repellant. "
