"So, the check in process was slow... gal said she was by herself and normally they had 2. There were 6 of us in line... she was very polite and professional, just slow. Our room wasn't ready until 4:20. Felt like they had just survived a major event... when we got the room it was clean but the hanging light fixture was broken and we discovered the next day the shampoo and body wash were empty. Still, the 24hr concierge was fantastic, the free Shepler shuttle saved us time and money, and the fire ring was nice... the onsite breakfast was wonderful the first day, felt a little tired on day two. While the resort is a water front, the 'beach' is a very rocky area (normal for this area)... bar/restaurant was mixed. Servers were nice, but seemed short staffed so service was slow and inattentive. Pizza was good, but salad was wilted. Drinks were strong and fair priced. All in all, not a bad place, but might check my options next time."
"The hotel more than met expectations and was in a great location. Check in was fast and easy. There are no elevators so if stair climbing is an issue you will need a lower level floor. They provided a good continental breakfast in my building and the main building, but they do have fresh lemon water and cookies throughout the day ONLY in the main building. They should do that in all buildings. The Pedals Cafe was nice, I just wish there was more information about the Pedals Package online or provided at check in. We may have purchased it, but didn't realize it was part of their accommodations until the day before we left."
"The stuff was very nice, willing to help you all the time. Good job! Nice room, breakfast was great. The only thing I didn't like was the water of the pool. It needs maintenance., and I think the price of the Hotel room was a little bit high."
"The interior of the room was fine. The bed was comfortable and the shower has really good pressure. The exterior needs a freshen up. Wood siding and there was a fair amount of rot around our balcony. Im sure the winters are hard on the buildings. For the value compared to other places on the island it's still a winner. If you looking to not break the bank this condo is the place to stay."
"The beds and pillows were great! Room was clean, but the carpeting felt dingy. We tried to swim in the Lake, but the inordinate amount of rocks kept us from doing anything more than wading at ankle level. We finally settled on going to the pool, which was fine, but we were a bit disappointed by not being able to enter the lake to swim. Breakfast was good - lots of options from which to choose."
