"Great place "

"This is hands down my wife and my "go-to" hotel in Portland. We live in Portland, have stayed there well over 4 times. We ABSOLUTELY Love the Suite and it is worth the money. We love the vintage look and feel and the beds are extremely comfortable which is important because my wife has severe chronic back pain. The rooms are not overly fancy and they may be lacking in some of the Millennial technology expectations such as TV Casting, but it has the basics for us 50yr olds! We have stayed in many hotels in downtown Portland and we have not found one that beats the Royal Sonesta for us. It is not the cheapest hotel and parking is stupid expensive; but we feel it is worth it. We intend to continue staying there for StayCations and look forward to our next stay."

"This is our go to hotel when we stay in downtown Portland. Clean rooms, good deals, and very friendly staff. It's also very pet friendly if you're traveling with your pup. It's also in walking distance to many restaurants and things to go do. "

"The room here was very nice and clean and we liked being able to sit in the beautiful library section of the lobby while doing some computer work during our stay. The parking garage was also conveniently located and there were lots of options for cute coffee shops nearby. "
