"We have stayed here on many occasions and were less impressed this time than we have been in the past. The facilities are getting outdated and run down. Management needs to attend to updating the rooms quickly. There was one electric plug and it was so loose we couldn't make the cord stay plugged in. And, although the basic cleaning had ben nicely done, this room needed a VERY COMPLETE deep cleaning. The staff all get 5-star rating as they were helpful, generous and kind. This should be a five-star facility and management needs to focus resources on updating right away!"

"This was a lovely historic hotel to stay at in the heart of Taos. Great location, comfortable room (though the temp was a little warm - had to sleep with window open), nice lobby and beautiful property. I'd stay there for the cool neon sign alone! Easy to walk so many places! "

"This is a gem of a mom and pop hotel. Def no frills, but the shower was hot, the pillows and mattresses were comfortable and the coffee was plentiful. This place is like a well mom and pop from 40 years ago, but open today and properly managed. The man at the desk was also the owner. We’ll be back! "
