While for many Americans it's been Visit Cuba year, for many Asians it is Visit Japan year as the Japanese ¥ drops to historical low against many currencies. For me, it's 3rd visit to Japan this year since Spring! This time I ventured to Tottori, some 90+ minutes away by Super Hakuto train from Himeji. It is the first "desert" I visited in Japan and it is one that's just next to the Japan Sea! Making it a most interesting experience. #desert #japan

Most restaurants open till midnight. Easy and fast transportation to Tokyo. Just beware of people on the street keep asking and harassing you to take the service they provide especially at night time.
