Amazing experience

The hotel is full of charm and history. The manager Mustafa was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable especially regarding Urfa's history. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. We happily ate there every evening.

Absolutely Charming & Historic

We reserved for two nights and stayed for a third night. The hotel is in a historic old Armenian church rectory. Inside the hotel, there are still mosaics on the floor from Roman times and a cistern that is older. The next building is the Armenian church that has been converted to a mosque. Mustafa the owner of the hotel is extremely hospitable, helpful, and nice. He speaks English quite well. Most sights are within walking distance and there are restaurants within 10 minutes walking. Mustafa's recommendations were excellent. The Balikligol is an easy 15 minute walk as is the bazaar. Sanliurfa's mosaic museum is about a 20 minute walk and is worth a visit. The neighborhood is a bit rundown, but it is safe and you get a feel of life in Sanliurfa. The hotel owns an area that is used for a parking lot. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was traditional Turkish style and quite good. Mustafa's assistant makes really good Turkish coffee.

Otelin sahibi beyefendi son derece kibar ve ilgiliydi. Otel çok güzel restore edilmiş ve orjinale sadık kalınarak düzenlenmiş. Seçilen eşyalar da son derece sade ve zarifti. Otelin konumu merkeze yürüme mesafesinde ve sessizdi. Keyifliydi. Kahvaltı yeterliydi. Fiyatı ve özellikleri düşününce güzel bir deneyim oldu. Kışın ziyaret etmek için biraz zor tabii serin oluyor hava. Bu konuda sorun yaşayacaklar daha sıcak havaları tercih etsin.

Konağın iç kısımlarında yer mozaikleri döşeli, sarnıcı, kuyuları var, kahvaltı salonuna dönüştürülmüş develiği... Cumbalı odaları, taş duvarları... Konağın kendisi tarihi eser aslında, çok keyifli, 750 yıllık bir yapı dolayısıyla bazı şeyler sonradan ilave edilmiş, duş içi ani su ısıtıcı gibi... (Basınçlı kaynar suyla duş almayı beklemeyin diye açıkladım). Banyoda kapı arkasına askı konursa daha kullanışlı olabilir. Kahvaltı normal, evdeki gibi, yöresel tarzda serpme kahvaltı yok, iddia da etmiyorlar zaten, yetiyor. Konum merkezi, 10 dakikada eski dar sokaklardan çarşıya ve Balıklıgöl'e yürüyerek gidiliyor. Personel tabii ki yardımsever, Güneydoğu insanı :) Tertemiz bir otel ayrıca, tavsiye ederim, biz keyif aldık.

For anyone who appreciates places with history: you will behold An amazing experience in a historical property. What Mustafa is doing with this former Armenian heritage property is wondrous- best regards for your efforts, The mosaic floor and the irrigation system/well from millennia ago, in the subterranean vaults are phenomenal.

Beautiful mansion house style hotel

Beautiful hotel in great location for exploring Urfa, especially the old town and sights such as Balıklıgöl. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The shower could have been slightly better, but that was it. Would definitely recommend from our experience.

Otelin yeri merkezi ve güzel.Çok güzel tarihi bir yapı.Çalışanlar gayet ilgili ve güler yüzlüler.Yalnız odaların ve özellikle banyonun bakıma ihtiyacı var.Kahvaltı çok sıradan.Biz kış vakti konakladık.Odalarda ısıtma yetersiz.Klima var fakat ısıtmıyor.Ek olarak elektrikli ısıtıcı koymuşlar.Bu da sadece geldiği yeri ısıtıyor.Kışın konaklamanızı kesinlikle tavsiye etmem.
