Breakfast was a highlight—served upon request and beautifully presented, it felt more like being a guest in someone’s refined home than staying in a hotel and with Castello Monforte just steps from your door, you’re quite literally surrounded by history. Campobasso itself is a hidden gem. The local shopping and dining were charming, with an authenticity that’s hard to find in more tourist-heavy spots. The people of Campobasso are kind, welcoming, and clearly excited to share their city with visitors. "

When you come back from a very hot day at the beach you come back to a hot room and it takes hours to it to cool up again. And to top it all off the a/c unit blows very low. "
