Great value

Our hosts were so generous and warm and giving of great breakfasts and all the information I needed. Only a pleasant 15 minute walk to town and it was nice to be in the gentle suburbs. It was a welcoming family home.

Amy the main host is amazing! She cares so much for her guests and it was lovely to experience! She helped us many times with our bus routes and even dropped us to our bus stop on the way to San Salvador on our last day with her. Breakfast was typical and changed every day. She also made a delicious Atol that she was happy to share with us. If you get a chance to be there when she cooks it, make sure to try! :)

Quiet neighborhood, just what I needed

Host and her sister were very friendly. Host offered to pick me up from the bus stop at night. Breakfast is very filling: scrambled eggs, beans, sweet plantain, bread, and fruit. The day I went to the volcano she packed my breakfast to go. The bus stop to the volcano is 2-3 blocks away. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.
