Our studio was spacious and well stocked with everything we might need while visiting. While the staff is offsite, they are attentive and helpful if needed. Casa Iglesia will be our new “go to” hotel while visiting Santa Barbara.

We loved this property and would 💯 stay again. Communication was very clear and check in/check out was smooth. We loved the digital entry and not having to wait for people or someone in a lobby to help us. Beautifully updated property and rooms. Loved it!

I’ve never stay in a hotel without a concierge but the process of checking in and out was a breeze. The room itself was perfect. It had all the amenities you can think of. The highlight for me was the bathroom. Never did I think I needed a heated toilet seat but I was very wrong. The shower made you want to stay in forever. The bed was comfortable and sheets were uber soft. The location of Casa Iglesia was ideal for anyone looking to stay walking distance of downtown Santa Barbara. I will definitely stay here again and I’ll be recommending this hotel to others.

It was very clean and spacious. I loved the little patio on the 3rd floor and it was one of the highlighting features. The room had many things that we weren’t expecting such as snacks. It was definitely conveniently located near the beach and businesses and was a highlight. I highly would recommend this place over hotels.

If you are not into the virtual hosting stuff, and prefer a human interaction this is not for you. However the response from the virtual hosts is quick and helpful. The property is of excellent standard, beautifully maintained and in a great location. Also parking ar the premises is plentiful and secure!

I had an amazing stay at Casa Iglesia in Santa Barbara. The hotel was beautifully designed, clean, and quiet. The rooms were modern while still keeping the charm of the historic property, and the self check-in process was super easy and convenient. Everything felt relaxing and well thought out, and the staff was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Barbara.

This is a really beautiful place with 21st century cool. The electronic communications and remote check-in and entry were easy and the room amenities were great – amazing waterfall shower; state of the art microwave/convections oven; love the Nespresso coffee; and the Toto toilet and bidet took it over the top!!!

This is a newly renovated property a little outside the true downtown area of Santa Barbara. The room was spacious and very high tech. The facilities are more suitable to non-Baby Boomer aged travelers. TV and Microwave were a bit of a challenge to get properly engaged as was the lack of on-site help. Booking with a third party facilitator resulted in some gaps in the communications and required us to request help by phone to gain initial entry into the room. The property was near new and a lovely renovation but the noise factors from above and nearby rooms were a little annoying given the level of pricing.

Such an amazing gem! Got the 2 bedroom apartment and it was well designed and decorated and had everything we needed! The beds in each room were very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was beautifully built and loved that it had a Bidet! The kitchen was fully stocked and my family enjoyed the nespresso machine! Will absolutely be back when visiting Santa Barbara again. So happy to have found this gem.

The facility was nice, and well kept. The phone (concierge staff) was promptly responsive and knowledgeable. They assisted us navigate the smart TV (which was uber complex). They helped get us housekeeping, one day (which isn't a daily thing there) but when we needed it, fresh towels and bed sheets, they promptly respond; the Zen staff was friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this place for all who would be in the neighborhood.

Casa Iglesia was a fantastic stay and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Barbara. From the moment we arrived, check-in was a breeze — seamless and stress-free. The space itself is immaculately clean, and the design is genuinely beautiful and thoughtful. It's clear that a lot of care went into every detail, from the layout to the finishes. The amenities were a pleasant surprise, little extras like a spare toothbrush and slippers showed real attention to the guest experience. The parking lot also has EV chargers, which was a huge plus. We didn't have a single interaction with staff during our stay, which honestly worked perfectly for us...everything was so well-organized that we didn't need anything. I chose Casa Iglesia because it is a brand-new property, and it exceeded my expectations. As a designer, I appreciated the attention to detail throughout the space, from the baseboard detailing and thoughtful lighting controls to the smart room features. I also loved the digital photo frame that doubles as a TV. The contactless experience was exactly what I prefer. I received a text with check-in instructions, parked, walked directly to my studio, unlocked the door with my phone, and settled in without stopping at a front desk. After a long drive, that seamless process was a huge plus. The room was exceptionally comfortable. The heated toilet was a standout feature, the 10-foot ceilings made the space feel open and airy, the bedding was excellent, and the smart temperature controls worked perfectly. I also appreciated the in-room coffee setup with cream. When I needed the Wi-Fi password for my laptop, I sent a text and received an immediate response. The location was perfect for a solo trip. Parking was close to the room, and downtown was only a 10-15 minute walk away for coffee and meals. My only criticisms are that sound insulation between floors could be better, as footsteps and furniture movement from above were noticeable. The entry door also required a firm push to fully latch before the thumb lock would work properly. Overall, a modern, well-designed, technology-forward stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would happily stay here again.

We loved everything about this property. Very close to State street and in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and everything that was offered inside of the rooms, kitchen, and bathroom were great! I just really wish the property had a pool and hottub! Just a personal preference lol We all favored the lounge area on the third floor!

Casa Iglesia was perfect for my visit! The hotel was located close to the Santa Barbara Women's Club, where I was attending a wedding. The room was modern, comfortable and clean. It was stocked With everything I needed to be comfortable like plates, utensils, cleaning supplies, earplugs, and a dog food and water bowl. I loved the convenience of the keypad lock entry to the building and room. The bidet and huge TV were a wonderful bonus.
