It was in the heart of the Danish shopping district. The staff were friendly. The breakfast left slot to be desired so plan on going out for breakfast. It was very clean. The pool and jacuzzi were good and they had towels out for pool use.

The location is amazing as it is centered in Solvang. Our room had upper windows on opposite sides of the room that created a cross breeze; we loved the fresh cool air and only used the air conditioning once. Breakfast is not extensive but our trip included 5 hotels and this one had the very best lobby coffee and a delicious blueberry danish. 😋 Cynthia at the front desk also helped us find all the wine tasting establishments in town and BOGOs.

The King Frederik was an excellent experience. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The location was in the good place and with everything at a walking distance. I will stay at The King Frederik next time I visit Solvang. I would highly recommend.
