"When Expedia's VRBO cancelled our booking for Oct1 property in Madrid on Sept 30th, we found ourselves scrambling to find a hotel close to the airport in Madrid. Hotels were ridiculously expensive for that evening but also very limited. Found this unique gem about 1 hour 15 minutes from the airport. Reasonable rate, huge room with a very large bathroom. Extremely clean! Friendly helpful staff. Ate in the hotel's restaurant which was also very nice. Would definitely recommend "

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel during our trip to Aranjuez. The view of the palace was beautiful. The hotel is very beautiful and impeccably clean. The staff was great we goth there a few hours earlier from a long flight and the staff was so nice to give us the room earlier. This made the start of our trip great! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort cleanliness and a touch of charm in Aranjuez "

El Convento de Lillo

"Clean and comfortable for a quick trip heading to south of Spain from Madrid after a long flight from the states, Lillo is a small town without much of anything to do, some restaurants open after 19:00 but I would drive there instead of walking 10 to 15 mins, it’s very safe. The convent is beautiful, probably the nicest building in town, the only complaint I would give is that you can hear everything from all the rooms, and I mean we heard all of the conversations and I am not sure folks where even next door, besides that, would I stay there again, yes we would. "

"Stunning reception area and welcoming staff. Great to be able To use the wellbeing pool late early evening, as the sun goes down. Room was a decent size with an amazing walk-in shower. We had a burger to eat at the bar which was tasty, as was breakfast. Only stayed one night as we were moving on but loved this hotel. "
