"I had a terrific stay at the Amankaya Lake House lake house. From the moment I arrived, Fernando (the owner) went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. He was incredibly accommodating and friendly, always ready to help with anything his guests needed. What really stood out was how much he genuinely cared—whether it was assisting people with getting around Lake Atitlán or just taking the time to sit down and play a game of Yahtzee with us, Fernando made the experience feel personal and memorable. The view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking—one of the highlights of the stay. Waking up to that scenery each day was something special. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay with unbeatable views and a host who truly goes the extra mile, I can’t recommend this place enough. The pictures attached are some of the amazing views around the property. The one is of the dock facing 2 volcanos (Volcán Tolimán and Volcán Atitlán). The other is of me enjoying a hammock session on the dock and the other two are views from the house. Fernando, thank you again. An absolutely incredible experience, my friend!"

"I found this property on Tiktok and i had to stay here. The grounds were absolutely lush and beautiful. They have so many beautiful garden areas. They also grow some of their own foods that they use to prepare delicious meals. The room was the star of the show. I felt like a queen. The attention to detail with little flowers on the bed and in the bathroom was a great touch. They also have candles lit in the room and bathroom. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and the shower pressure was Amazing. The only thing that was an issue was the insects were bothersome when i was going to sleep. Even though i used the net around my bed the insects would still get in and fall over the pillows and sheets. They should try to rectify that because it took away from my rest. Also the sheets looked a bit worn. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They will bring your meal to your room if requested. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The pool area although small was beautiful. They assisted with transportation to visit the other villages. I saw on the site they had an helicopter and did ask if they used it for tours around the lake but they said no. I think that would be a great activity to offer as i think a lot of people would pay to do it. Overall i had such an amazing experience. Wonderful staff!"
