We liked the breakfast & the room size is good. What we dint like was the road to get there, make sure you rent an all terrain vehicle because the streets are bad. No parking lot either you park outside the property. Walking distance to la punta is about 10 minutes. Also dint like that the plunge pool was not full and it would take forever to fill and the water was cold.

This was the most incredibly beautiful and romantic place to stay in Puerto Escondido! The staff was attentive and amazing, the food was wonderful and you can walk down the road past shops, coffee places and bars right down to a perfect beach. We will definitely try to come back to this amazing oasis!

Great hotel, great room, great staff. I would 100% stay here again, our room was so nice and the plunge pool and daybed made it even better. It's not too far from town, so walking isn't a big deal. The only thing I would say is the food isn't amazing, it's not bad but you can walk into town and get a better (cheaper) meal. The welcome cocktail was lovely though. Really beautiful hotel and they let us check in early which was great.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The reason for deducting one star has to do with the fact that they are about 15 mins away from a swimable beach. That was not clearly advertised when we booked our stay. If you are looking for a space to relax, this is the hotel for you. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is gorgeous, and has a warm, relaxing and cozy boho vibe.The bedrooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. The staff is wonderful, helpful and the food is great. I came with a sprained ankle (I could barely walk) and Diana in the morning and Jesus in the afternoon were very helpful and reliable to help me with ordering taxis on a daily basis to go to the beach or dinner at night. am very appreciative as well to the director for his help, I would have definitely give it a 5 stars or more if it wasn't for the challenge of exteriors factors such as dogs howling in the middle of the night.This being said, I liked the hotel and the service so much that I would come back.

A fabulously relaxing stay

The hotel is new so it’s in excellent condition, the rooms are finished to a very high spec and very tastefully done. The hotel has a very luxurious feel to it. Definitely a hotel for having a chill time. I thought the pool location was odd to begin with but actually ended up using it a bit. Only slight annoyance was inability to get food or drinks after 17:00.

Best hotel staff in the world.

The best service I’ve ever had in a hotel - anywhere. My husband and I arrived sick - they literally walked us to our room, called doctors, brought us water and bread (the only thing we could keep down), and frequently checked on us. We healed quickly with their help. Another plus - individually controlled AC. We were able to have a very cold room to heal and relax in. Also get the rooftop massages, book in advance.

Do not stay here. We booked Punta Nayaa for the final leg of our 10th anniversary trip—four nights we'd been looking forward to, drawn in by the hotel's photos and glowing reviews. Check-in seemed fine. The suite looked adequate, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. We headed out for a pre-booked bioluminescent lagoon tour and got back around 11pm. That's when it fell apart. Pulling back the covers on the bed, we found blood stains on the sheets and yellow stains across the blankets — other bodily fluids I'd rather not speculate about (photos available). The staff couldn't help: they had all gone home for the night. So we laid towels over the bed and tried to sleep. We didn't. Packs of stray dogs barked until 4am, roosters took over at dawn, and construction equipment fired up at 6am. The hotel clearly knew about the noise—they'd pre-placed foam earplugs by the bed, which were useless. When we raised all of this the next morning, we were met with no empathy, no accountability, and a dismissive shrug. We cancelled the rest of the stay and left less than 24 hours after arriving. Since then, the hotel has ignored every WhatsApp message and email — ours and Expedia's alike. Their entire approach to problems is to pretend they don't exist. Credit to Expedia for the goodwill gesture; we'll happily book through them again. But save your money and your sanity: do not stay at Punta Nayaa.

Beautiful property! We loved the room, the staff, the quiet, the view of the ocean from our terrace, and the swimming pool in the lobby was nice to cool off in during the midday heat. The staff was so helpful and kind. They allowed us to park our car right outside the entrance and even connected us with a local scooter rental which made it easier to get around the small roads. The room was beautiful, quiet, spacious, and comfortable with the a/c at nights. Hotel is on a dirt road set back from all the action, but still close by. Cute baby chickens running around and liked hearing the rooster in the morning. Felt like a nice reset for us, coming from nyc. Thank you for a great experience!

We had the pleasure of staying at Punta Nayaa for two nights and to say it was a little slice of Heaven is an understatement. Right from the beginning, the staff was attentive and friendly. We arrived at the hotel very early and they were happy to keep our bags for us, and let us lounge around by the pool till our room was ready, which they had us in well before the check-in time (very much appreciated). We booked the king with roof plunge pool, which was stunning to say the least. The food the hotel offered was also amazing! They have the best sourdough bread I have ever eaten. It's located in a quieter area, which was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle by the beach. The walk to town is on dirt roads for the most part, so just bring decent sandals/shoes and you shouldn't have any issues there. We also arranged the Bioluminescence lagoon tour and our transpiration to the bus station through the hotel, which was easy and convenient. I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience at this hotel. We definitely will plan to stay at this hotel again in the future, it was beautiful.

great stay

great stay. probably could have lounged in the hotel for the entire visit and be happy. the space is beautiful, well-appointed and spacious. our welcome drink - the ginger nayaa - was one of the best cocktails i've ever had. we ate at the restaurant for three meals over the course of a two-night stay, and the food was delicious and fresh each time. it's about a ten minute walk from the beach, which was fine for us. the main strip in escondido can get kind of loud and racous, which is not the vibe we wanted that weekend, so distance to that was nice. the road to the hotel is largely is unpaved, which again, is fine. we're in mexico, and kind of fits with the 'one-with-nature' vibes of the hotel. while i felt safe the entire time (with a partner), i could understand why the unpaved road and inconsistent street lighting may not be appealing to a solo traveler as noted in previous reviews. overall, i would definitely stay here again! looking forward to it.
