Basic & clean central hotel.

This is a basic hotel but it is clean and good value for money. Great central location with lots of restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance. Unfortunately that means it can get noisy so I recommend to bring earplugs. The maids do a great job. My room had a TV, decent wifi signal and air con. The reception desk is in the convenience store downstairs. The staff were helpful in looking after my suitcase for a few hours on my check out day.

Nice rustic room, simple, clean quiet and good air conditioning. bathroom was nice, simple and funtional. Good internet and nice tv with cable. Great location and a 2 minute walk to the "mercardo" (market) where they can get good breakfasts that are better and cheaper than many of the restaurants... I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

I was Robbed at this Hotel Casa Shaguiba

DO NOT STAY HERE I checked into this hotel at around 2:30 PM and asked about a room safe and they said they did not have one. My suitcase had TSA locks so locked my suitcase I proceeded to head to the beach and then for a quick dinner. 3 hours later when I returned and opened my suitcase it still was locked but I was missing bag of money. I spoke with the attendant, the police and they agreed to have the manager and police meet me the next day at 8:00 AM and neither showed up. Avoid this hotel at all costs! Many better places to stay in La Crucecita and this area. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

El hotel se encuentra en el centro, y alrededor encuentras donde comer, comprar o si necesitas farmacia también hay. Nos fuimos caminado a la playa Chahue, a unos 20 minutos aprox. en auto a 10 min. En general el hotel está bien, el cuarto que nos tocó muy amplio, las camas cómodas, limpio. También hay varios lugares que ofrecen tours.

Me gustó que es muy céntrica y caminado encuentras: restaurantes, el mercado de artesanías, taxis. Recomedaría que de vez en cuando realizaran limpieza profunda del baño, ya que el mosaico de la regadera necesita una pulida y los canceles también para quitar todo lo que se le va quedando pegado del jabón. Creo eso ayudaría mucho a mejorar el sitio. Otra sugerencia es que den de baja sábanas rotas y toallas, da mal aspecto y se les diera mantenimiento a los muebles de madera rústica que hay en el cuarto. Lo que no me gustó, pero eso no es culpa del hotel, es que se oye el escándalo del karaoke de la esquina en las noches. Pero eso es por la ubicación céntrica que tiene.

Mala experiencia

Tuve una mala experiencia con este hotel, para empezar hice la reservación por Hoteles.com, me pareció bien el precio, la hice 2 meses antes del viaje y justo terminando la reservación, me marcaron del hotel diciendo que de preferencia cancele la reservación porque lo más probable es que al llegar no tuvieran habitaciones, pregunté que porque y me dijeron que porque el precio estaba mal y que lo más seguro es que no hubiera habitaciones, me comunique con Hoteles.com y les comenté lo que me dijeron, ellos hablaron con el hotel y ya después que volví a marcar me dijeron que si estaba bien mi reservación, eso si, en la página de Hoteles.com ya habían subido el precio casi la doble de como lo contraté, en fin ya en el hotel, la primera noche todo más o menos porque las luces no las apagan en la noche y el cuarto que da al pasillo queda con mucha luz, bueno eso si importar la rara distribución de los 2 cuartos, en la segunda noche se descompuso un ventilador de un cuarto lo reporté y me dijeron que no podían arreglarlo que utilizara el aire acondicionado, pero el aire no se podía regular, no podías graduarlo, no tenía control y era prenderlo de manera manual y sin poder ajustarlo, en fin muy mala experiencia, espero les sirva mi comentario.

Me quede solo una noche; la ubicacion esta genial y la habitacion en si estaba en buenas condiciones. Mi unico detalle fue que no habia recepcionista temprano y por mi vuelo tuve que dejar la llave en mi cuarto y el porton abierto. Espere mucho a las 9 : 15 decidi irme.

I was in room 206. Its the corner unit and has a great view of the Zocalo or town square. The hotel is basic and could use some updates but its still a great location and i felt secure. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great location with a taxi stand about 50 yards away and many dining option close by.
