Backpackers in love.

You better have culture. Hidden in the off beat and path. The best hotel in the town with great and friendly staff. The hotel is a year old and very clean. The best beach I have ever witness in the pacific.

Beautiful brand new building & beautiful beach

Casa Vanora sits on a hill overlooking beautiful Bahia San Agustín. The hotel just opened in April 2024 and was only 4 months old when we stayed there. The drive there was a little intense and I would not recommend it if you don’t have experience driving in Mexico. Luckily, the hotel offers a pickup service from the airport in a brand new Toyota Hilux (Tacoma). Just know that I drove all the way there from Oaxaca City, so it’s definitely doable. The beach is roughly 5 minutes walking from the hotel. There are 2 different stairways leading down to the water. The snorkeling here was the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to Hawaii and the Caribbean. The restaurants on the beach are great too, especially Mar y Luz. The hotel has a great pool and a rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the bay. Heliomar is the manager there and he was so cool and attentive to our needs. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. His sister is the cook and she’s super friendly and a darn good cook. They offer tasty meals and drinks for a very fair price. They will bring it to your room, but why do that, when you can enjoy it on the terrace? The room itself was great as well, we had a design suite and it was on the third floor in the corner. The views from our room were amazing. Impeccably clean room and you can really feel the amount of care that went into this place. The only concern for us was that they could use some blackout curtains. Overall, 5/5

Staying at Casa Vanora was a highlight of our trip to Huatulco. Our ocean view room with a spectacular view of both the sunrise and sunset Well appointed, meticulously clean, comfy bed. We saw whales on 2 occasions form the hotel roof top restaurant! The manger Elio was extremely helpful everthing - transfers, restaurants and spanish lessons! We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!!

It’s in a very unsafe and difficult road. Please don’t drive it at night like we did. Had the people told us of the road conditions when I called it would have been different. It has a wonderful view but the location of the hotel is weird and unsafe.

READ EVERYTHING!!! It was my first time here in Huatulco especially San Vicente. We came across this nice hotel and decided to book our stay for 3 nights. Everything was fine and we had a great time until the day of checkout. My sister had put all her personal items such as ID, credit card and debit card into her small black purse bag and put it all the way at the bottom of her bigger green bag the first night. She never touched that bag again until the end of checkout as I would bring my own bag once and we would normally just bring cash with us outside. Then the second day housekeeping cleaned our room. To our surprise, she couldnt find her small black bag containing all her cards. Thankfully she didnt put her passport in there. We looked everywhere, emptied all our bags, took out all the sheets, opened all drawers with Eliomar and the other housekeeper lady. Long and behold we couldnt find it. So the question is where did it go right? We didnt take it outside. My sister secured it in her bag and all of a sudden they’re gone? Now she doesnt have an ID, Credit Card and Debit Card and we are only 4 days into our trip. Very disappointed and I will never come back here. I will never bring any friends or family members here as it is not safe to stay here. Thankful that my sister still has her passport otherwise she would be stuck in Mexico.

El hotel es muy cómodo y limpio, el personal súper amable. El desayuno en el restaurante 10/10. En los aspectos no tan positivos, la alberca es muy pequeña y el acceso a la playa es complicado, se necesita un carro para los traslados. Como sugerencia, un beach club en alguna de las playas con opción de transporte por parte del hotel lo haría la opción perfecta para pasar las vacaciones.

Una casa de playa increíble

Muy recomendable, el personal sumamente profesional y amable. La habitación muy limpia, y tal y como se describe en el anuncio. Recomendable los servicios extra como transporte y paseo turistico a las playas cercanas en barco. Estaria genial que contaran con alimentos por las tardes, ya que sólo hay desayuno hasta las 12 p.m.

Excelente para descansar y cerca de playas bonitas

El hotel es muy limpio, para llegar el camino es de terracería pero vale la pena. El hotel es muy bonito y todos son muy amables. La habitación tiene una vista al mar increíble, de las mejores, en todo momento escuchas las olas del mar. Puedes llegar caminando a la bahía de San Agustín. Está muy cerca. De lo mejor de la zona.
