"When we arrived at the apartment and called the host he said there was an issue with the current apartment and there was another that he was going to send us to. I had read a previous review with the same situation and it just felt like it was a scam.we didn't feel safe going to another location.the host wasn't willing to work with us to help us get a refund. "My first time back to motherland after so many years I was very happy with my fiancé . this hotel is a hidden Gem in El Salvador Lago de ilopango don't look no further stay like the magazine, if you want a relaxed vacation surrounded by nature ,a 360 view a pool a jacuzzi inside your own room ,wow i wish I stayed longer the amenities was a phone call away for room service dinner ,let's not talk about the Salvadoran breakfast the names were chosen as famous painters like Vaugh gosh,Frida khalo sooo cool & delish ! I highly recommend to anyone visiting is near city San Salvador and close by airport! Thank you will be back to explore the Lago de ilopango ;)"

"A nice, modest, clean, basic property. The staff were extremely sweet. Good a/c in the room. Breakfast was made to order and good. Comfortable firm beds. A 10-15-minute walk to the government palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, beautiful squares and nice restaurants. There's no front desk, and you have to message/text to let them know you're arriving, but response was immediate and this was not an issue at all."
