"We loved staying at the Manor House for São João. We could easily walk to the river front to join the festivities and then walk back to the manor house and enjoy the fireworks from the privacy of our terrace. The staff was amazing! Our only hang up was a bit of bad timing as the manor house’s green house (the unit we rented to stay in) had just had flood and it ruined their beautiful flooring and the bathroom had a moldy smell. But they had plans to fix it so we know we’ll back again another...

"Great location in front of the cathedral. This was very easy to get on our day trip to Douro Valley as the meeting spot was in front. Very helpful staff. Rooms are clean and modern. Great breakfast buffet!"

"Muy buena experiencia. Nos dejaron entrar antes del horario, la habitación estaba limpia y cuando el aire no funcionó nos cambiaron enseguida a otra con mejor vista a la piscina y al jacuzzi, que los niños disfrutaron muchísimo. El desayuno variado, buena ubicación con restaurantes cerca y excelente atención del personal, (Gracias Celso por tu amabilidad y en especial de Celso. Hotel tranquilo e ideal para familias. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the ibis Porto Sul. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there (pasta and pizza) and it was great. The beer choices were better than most other ibis hotels. The room itself was clean and the overall hotel was quiet. Our in-room coffee machine was broken but they provided an espresso shot in the morning at no cost. We would definitely stay there again if we were exploring the Porto/Aveiro area or visiting the nearby conference center."
