"This was one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed in. There is a river that runs through the property with heaps of areas and seats to lounge around it. They put on the fire pit every night which is such a treat. There’s so many activities, like bingo, quiz nights, karaoke ect. The hostel was social but it wasn’t too loud in the rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and we loved our room. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they ran most of the daily hiking adventures which was a treat. The daily breakfasts were scrambled eggs, a fried bread thing and a sausage onion mix, so filling and delicious. They had daily yoga (except Sunday and Monday I think) which was a perfect way to start the day or finish it. The yoga area also has some small free weights which was nice for a self lead session.
I loved having a morning coffee on the swinging benches near the river every morning. That’s another thing, free coffee from 6am every morning, help yourself!"
"This property is absolutely beautiful. There is a small river that runs through the grounds that I just found so peaceful. The rooms are large, clean, and we'll furnished with a kitchen. It was expressed to me that check in is smoother if done the night before but wish I would have been told it is NECESSARY to do the check in before arrival as there is no staff on grounds. There are also hotels/restaurants within walking distance which was also nice since we did not want to go all the way to town for dinner. Overall great place to stay."
