"Very nice, small and basic hotel so do not expect any special amenities (like gym) but there is a pool, which we used extensively. It’s is located very close to the beach in Carmen, restaurants and shops. They only serve breakfast there but it was good. Staff was amazing and very helpful (especially David, Luis and Astrid), there was a problem with AC but this issue was resolved promptly and professionally. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time in Santa Teresa by The Beach."

"This was the best resort I’ve ever stayed at. I cannot wait to come back. I am already thinking about it. The location, the beach, the pool, the staff, the restaurant was absolutely amazing. I never experienced anything like it. The room was beautiful and spacious and very very clean. The housekeeping did an amazing job with keeping it clean during my stay. Once again, cannot wait to return!"

"Absolutely loved my stay at Banana Beach in Santa Teresa! 🌴🌊✨ Such an incredible place with the most amazing vibes, beautiful energy, and a relaxed, tropical atmosphere. Everything about it captures the magic of Costa Rica. The beach, the ambiance, the people, and the overall experience made my stay truly special. "Truly gorgeous property with lush tropical landscapes, quiet location just steps from local eateries and just a short walk across the street from the beach. Minor suggestions: a dresser to put belongings in (there were shelves near shower, but not enough room for all of our belongings) and perhaps a place to set or hang keys/purse near the door. Also, didn’t see an ice machine. Of note, there’s a gravel path with slight incline that leads to the casitas, so you must carry your bags to your room. Overall, our stay was truly so nice here! The front desk staff weee so nice and helpful w/recommendations, and we loved how peaceful this location was! Comfy beds, AC worked great, & pool was perfectly warm too ☺️"
