The hot water/cold water valves in the shower and sinks were "quirky" (you had to turn on the cold water first, and then slowly turn on the hot water) but they worked and it was fine. The only thing a guest should be aware of is that this hotel is one block from the railroad tracks, and trains go by 3-4 times every night, and they blast their horns at every intersection, including the intersection at this hotel.
