I can’t say enough the hotel is beautiful. The area is beautiful nine minutes till one of the most beautiful beaches and Broad walks. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cooks. Too the housekeeping I enjoyed my stay immensely.

Great Hotel

We had a lovely three nights stay at Hotel Santemar. Staff were very friendly and helpful, it is a comfortable and well located hotel only minutes from the beautiful Sardinero beach. I would happily recommend this hotel for a stay in Santander.

Beautiful and well kept hotel. It’s equivalent to a high end hotel in Chicago or NY but a fraction of the cost. Beautiful area with plenty of walking paths and only a few meters to the beach.

Great location and clean. If you like sleep ask for a room away from the front entrance bar. Breakfast was not great value for money. Reception was poor on arrival, no information was relayed as to breakfast times etc.

Good quality hotel overall. Room was comfortable and clean, parking garage very convenient at 18 euros per night. Free on street parking is also available. There is no outside space to relax in, which would have been nice, considering the beach location. We found limited dining options in the immediate area, particularly on a festival day. The town was vibrant with lots of bars and restaurants but is a 30 minute walk. Beaches are lovely and we enjoyed walking along the promenade.
