"Clean and nice room, the hotel offered good selection of food and drinks and outside of the hotel there was plenty of restaurants to choose from. One downside is that there is only one beach close to the hotel which was quite small "

"Lovely, modern hotel perfect and ideal for kids yet it still felt peaceful in July. All the staff were helpful and friendly. There a few niggles such a no extractor fan in the kitchen and the lights not workijg initially however all and all a lovely trip. We will definitely book again! "

"Just returned from a week at the Alua Suites and had a wonderful time with our five year old. The location is spectacular, with incredible views of the ocean, and plenty of amenities and beaches nearby. A great base if you want to explore the island, but equally enough to keep families occupied on site. We did day trips over to Deia and Valdemossa as well as the Saturday market at Satanyi, all of which were incredible and easy if you have a car. We thought the accomodation was good, if a little...

"The location is brilliant. Hotel reception/management are not good. They don’t want to support you. Not very welcoming. We arrived late with 2 children and they messed up our check in and had no water for us."

"We stayed at Cala d'Or Playa last year and booked it straight away when we got home as we had loved it so much. It did not disappoint the second time round. The room was clean as was around the pool and bar/restaurang areas. The staff are friendly and work very hard and my youngest loved the entertainment crew and joined many of the activities and games. The slides are great fun for the kids and the main pool layout is great for all to enjoy. People do get io early to get the sunbeds they want but we always found we could get some. It's in a great location, just a short walk from 2 beaches and a nice stroll into Cala d'Or itself with all the bars and restaurants to choose from. The marina is beyond the town, perhaps about 20 mins walk but well worth a visit. Reception will call a taxi for you if asked. I would jighly recommend this hotel especially if you have children of primary school age."

"This hotel is in a beautiful setting in a picturesque cove. The room was well maintained, comfortable and spacious. The staff we met at reception, in the outdoor restaurant and cleaning our rooms were always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a very wide choice of food options. Children enjoyed the play area. Didn’t like the very busy and crowded family swimming pool. "

"2nd visit to this hotel. Centrally located, so beach, shops, restaurants and bars on the doorstep and within a 5 min walk. Check in fast and efficient. We had a standard room which was spacious, clean and modern. Comfortable bed and air con worked well. Maid service was excellent. We always found sunbeds. We preferred to sunbathe on the grassed chill out area to the side of the hotel and above the access to the beach. Although we had breakfast included, we never took up the option. In summary, an excellent hotel that is perfect for adult couples. Highly recommend and would return again. Top tip. If you love a good pizza, the restaurant directly opposite the hotel is amazing. "
