We had a wonderful stay at the Santarem Hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They even helped us arrange for a ride to Coimbra! We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel in Santarém, rooms well equipped, many have superb views. Lovely pool, indoor and outdoor. Good buffet breakfast. We had to stay several extra days after our car broke down, the staff have been fantastic!

Everything wonderful, except gym and inner pool

The condition of the gym is deplorable. The space and variety of equipment are appreciated, but the machines were broken, and the level of dirt was shocking. The mats were disgusting, so I lay on the floor instead, and the friction from my hands rolled up balls of grime. Regarding every other aspect, room cleaningness and comfort exceptional.

Lovely hotel - disabled friendly.

Excellent hotel. The outdoor pool is lovely. I have mobility issues so having steps walking down in to the pool was perfect. There is an outside bar for snacks etc. Freshly squeezed orange juice was lovely. Access via 2 lifts. Rooms cleaned every day. Food in restaurant very tasty - takes orders until 10 30pm which was very handy for us. Breakfast free with room - hot and continental. Coffee maker in hotel toom but i took my own hot choc etc and could make it up with hot water from the machine. Disabled friendly. All speak english. Totally recommend this hotel. Only issue a bit far out but the taxis are good so can access town for 4 euros.

Hoping to go for a nice get away we headed to Santarem. Ended up being an evening full of footwork and Spoke to a gentleman at the counter desk and was advised Fado will be playing at a nearby restaurant. Cutting a long and foot lengthy story short, never did I think I’d be running around the city in the evening looking for it and only to find that restaurant don’t play Fado. Was a complete waste of time. Ended up eating fast food because of there mix up. Don’t trust their directions either

Très bon hotel, personnel très agréable. Chambre spacieuse et nettoyage impeccable. Équipement complet (table, fauteuil,bureau, grand lit, armoire, baignoire ect…) Petit déjeuner varié, piscine et transat au top avec le bar. Si je devais mettre un point négatif : la moquette dans la chambre et la fenêtre qui s ouvre uniquement en oscillo battante.
