"I booked this hotel as my time off was approved at the last minute and there wasn't much inventory left in the area as all the accommodations double their rates during the university's graduation and most were sold out. I wasn't ecprecting much due to the pricing and it was a motel 6. I can handle outdated decor etc but at least if the room was clean it would have been more tolerable. The I got room was suppose to be non smoking and it reaked of cigarette smoke. There were holes in the bedding. The floors were dirty. The a/c looked like it was kicked from the outside and it barely cooled the room. I was booked for two nights but I left early after graduation was over. Expedia needs to take this property off its website and the corporation that owns this chain needs to step in and either renovate this hotel or close it down."

"Didn’t use any amenities. Breakfast was ok at best. They didn’t make our bed or provide fresh towels. Went to front desk to discuss. Was told that we should have been told at check in that unless we asked they don’t enter room during our stay. We didn’t tell us. She did give me fresh towels. It was graduation weekend and we paid over $400 per night for two nights. They should have made our bed! Place needs a refresh! "

"We found a hotel a little bit moist, ask for a couple of bottles of water and they told us we had to buy it that 100% but marketing The breakfast during the week closes at 9 AM although university of Florida had graduation and the hotel was packed, at 9 AM to remove the bagels and everything in literally 60 seconds. We asked for towels that never came in also Not the best choice in Gainesville"

"I never written a review on hotels.com before because I had a high level of tolerance with bad service. But this one was different because I had the worst nightmare experience when I stayed there the night of April 29 and morning of April 30. I checked in and was assigned to a room that was still occupied. The coffee maker and hair dryer were not working. The mini fridge had the juice bottle left from a previous guest. That was fine with me. I stayed the night. After I had shower the next morning, I found the hair dryer not working. I went to the front desk asking very politely to fix it. The staff said she had nobody to fix and asked me to buy one in Walgreens. Then I asked politely if possible to change a room, she said it was fully booked. I said that was fine and about to leave, she started to yell at me saying she was already overwhelmed and why I came to ask for a hairdryer, which she didn’t have, then she cursed and asked me get the fk out of the lobby, said she was going to check me out and called cops. Then she did. So I asked for a hairdryer, I was forced out of the hotel, I got a cop visit. Two cops came, they asked what was going on, I told the story, they were reasonable and didn’t say anything because I was ready to leave. I could tell this was not the first time they had this. They let me go. Friends, this was the best “quality “ service at Quality Inn. This property should be removed from hotels.com. "
