"Third floor walk up room in furthest building from reception and after carrying our luggage up (no elevators) we come to find that our key cards don’t work. Pretty small room. Ok for a quick stay if coming in or out of SJO for the night. This is a 3 star hotel at best. "

"Not enough staff. Takes to long to ask for anything or get a person on the phone. Hotel halls extremely long the distance from one place to another was way too much. "

"We liked our stay at this hotel, and like the Japanese restaurant, but here are things that could be better: initially we stayed in a room that was too noisy (facing freeway). Second, we would have liked to have more hand and face towels; there was only one for both my wife and I. The location of the hotel is not that good, in that there is no way to walk to any place, like outside restaurants and shops, so we had to always take taxis. The breakfast buffet was mediocre."

"A wonderful night sleep after a long flight. Quiet, clean, comfortable, all we needed. I would stay here again. Free shuttle to and from the airport was very helpful."

"While the property is in a very convenient location, its convenience comes at the cost of increased noise due to airport runways being across the street. It didn’t bother us during the day, even though the noise is very apparent, but did wake us up at night a few times; thankfully not a ton of traffic in the middle of the night. Possibly not as obvious if your room was situated on the opposite side. Despite the noise, we would stay here again due to cleanliness and convenience. I might just ask to be placed in a room farther away from main road to see if that would help even just a little bit. The beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was good. Overall, staff was kind and helpful with the exception of one front desk worker whose disposition was pretty cold. Although we didn’t use it because we had a rental car, it is very convenient that they offer 24 hour airport shittle that runs every 20 minutes, I believe. "
