Exceptional stay in Oia!

Absolutely stunning hotel at the end of Oia! Quiet and private. Staff were exceptional providing local knowledge, delicious breakfasts, and baggage assistance! 💯 would stay in this “Boutique Cave Hotel” again. There are many steps tho… be prepared!

The views were really unmatched. The only drawback to the view was at night you could often smell the donkey droppings from the oia steps but other than that it was the perfect location in Oia. Still quiet at night but right in the heart of everyrhing

Stunning view and comfortable suite, right in the middle of Oia. Many steps to get to our suite, so not recommended for those with difficulty navigating stairs. Breakfast is simple and plentiful.

Mamma Mia Trip

Our stay at Horizon Aeifos Suites was amazing! I never expected such a unique and beautiful hotel. The location was perfect! It's located next to the Castle of Agios Nikolaos. Mihai, the hotel Manager and his staff especially Antonio were wonderful! Breakfast was delicious with an incredible view. I highly recommend!

This is a cave hotel cut into the cliffs overlooking the caldera. The view is spectacular from your balcony and the hotel has a prime viewing areas for the sunset that allows you to avoid the crowds waiting for hours in the hot sun. Staff if very responsive. Room is basic and the breakfast is nothing special but if you want to stay right in the middle of everything this is for you

Hotel check in procedure and system needs to be improved. Very hard to reach the reception from the gate which is 24hr locked. Great ocean views, but it is also one of the farthest hotels from the bus/taxi station. Please prepare for a little long walk on the rocky pathway, especially for those who carry large luggage.

This was a lovely hotel, very spacious and clean. I only gave four stars for cleanliness because there was a slight cat urine smell but, that is to be expected since there are lots of cats living in Oia. There is a very long steep walk upstairs down to the hotel, but the staff was great and carried our luggage.

The property is in a great location! It is very close and walkable to stores and restaurants and offers great viewpoints of the Oia landscape. The room was a cave room with ample space. The only recommendation I would suggest is to have brighter lighting in the room. The lighting is too dim and needs to be warm yellow rather than the white institutional lighting. I would recommend this place if you are looking to be.close to all the action.

Beautiful hotel, we had a view of the sea from our balcony and breakfast was brought directly to us so we could eat while admiring the view. Staff was very friendly and helpful, even carrying our luggage up and down tons of stairs. It’s located right next to the “sunset spot” so you don’t have to go far to see one of the best sunsets on the island (but it does get crowded)

This place is superb, the quality of the views is just out of this world. The room was superclean and had everything that we needed. Only problem is we couldn t stay longer. The host, Michael, was a true professional and answers all our queries and made us feel very welcome. We know where to stay next time in Santo.

The hotel had cockroaches and not enough light in the rooms. The washroom is inconvenient for people since you have to climb stairs. Only one of my rooms had an iron. The towels smelled like cigarettes. The manager was very nice and helpful and so were the other employees. Breakfast was included but very basic. Location was good. Overall, average stay and would not return.
