Stayed here for a trip in between changing jobs and it was everything we could have asked for. The staff were attentive and kind, our junior suite was a perfect size and we loved having the balcony. The beach was great and overall, Kamari was an excellent option for a peaceful holiday.

Superb vacation

Wonderful view upon awakening and walking out on to the balcony the view is fabulous The room fresh clean and spacious The staff so friendly and polite and welcoming The only small downside for me is the breakfast not a great deal i would eat and some of the choices of items for breakfast is a bit bizarre like cheese pie 😅 Anyways amazing hotel.

Lovely hotel with access to everything

Very clean. Very friendly. Access to the beach was fabulous. Plenty of small areas so didn't feel like a big hotel. Close to restaurants and shops. Towels provided for beach and pool.

It was really great stay there. 10mins cab from airport, 1 min walk to dedicated beach area, 1 bus to multiple wineries and main town. Restaurant was also great, could enjoy both local and global foods, and large portions. On last day, hotel offers free shower services, hence could enjoy the pool / beach even after the checkout. Breakfast buffet menu was same for 5 days, it would be more great if certain variations existed.

We had a lovely time overall. While the hotel didn’t quite live up to the pictures or expected standards, the location was excellent. The rooms were in need of some TLC and lacked some basic necessities you’d expect from a beachside hotel with pool facilities—such as a clothes dryer on the balcony. A kettle was provided, which was appreciated, but there were no cups to use with it. Surprisingly, there was also no “Do Not Disturb” sign for the door. The cleaning staff did a great job keeping the room tidy, though the mornings could be quite noisy. Being next to the domestic cupboard meant lots of chatter and walkie-talkies at full volume, which wasn’t very restful. All in all, I wouldn’t return to this particular hotel, but for a last-minute getaway it was reasonably priced, and the fantastic location helped make up for the shortcomings.

Nice resort. But this hotel is not for me.

Reception staff very friendly. Breakfast good. Rooms clean. Pool nice but good luck getting a bed . There policy is to not allow people to reserve beds but for our 9 day duration we were unable to get around the main pool once. For us that was an issue because access into the sea is difficult for anyone with walking difficulties. Bedroom very comfortable and good air conditioning. Restaurant staff rude. The sea front is quite nice with a variation of bars and restaurants. I would go back to Santorini but due to my experience of the pool and restaurant definitely not to this hotel.

Most of the staff where great only a couple exceptions. One was the pool bartender (quite rude). No ice machines snd I was told to go buy some if I wanted it. Rudely! No one sold ice that was near the hotel. They only allow one key and there were 4 of us. Inconvenience! I would choose a different option if I returned.

Afroditi is in a great location on Kamari beach. We had instant beach access and were close to many restaurants ane shops. The hotel itself was a let down. We paid for a jacuzzi room, and the water was luke warm at best. There is no storage for your clothes (outside of hanging) nor hooks for towels to dry - which brings me to my next point: the shower. It does not have a door and gets water everywhere in the bathroom. Mornings were loud and disruptive, and we woke up with new bug bites every day. The breakfast was tolerable; only ate once. Overall, the hotel was dirty, a bit smelly (cat litter/piss?) and outdated. Again, great location, but would recommended trying to find another spot for your stay in Santorini - especially if you're looking for a romantic environment. It's best suited for families.

Maisonette Rooms

The staff were mostly nice and welcoming, however the first maisonette room was a bit dusty. We complained and they put us in a cleaner room the next morning. The 2 biggest complaints were the lack of mirror in the bathroom as the hairdryer was fixed to the wall in there. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together that would push apart in the night so you would end up in a gap between mattresses. The final thing is the amount of stairs was crazy, we had our young son with mobility issues having to climb a lot of stairs to reach the family rooms. These rooms also have ladder type steps inside to separate the parents and Childrens rooms. We liked the hotel in some ways but the maisonette room isn’t really toddler friendly. Risk assessment on how these rooms are great for families needs to be done. Santorini is very beautiful and people are lovely.
